HDFC Flexi Cap among 7 mutual funds that multiplied investors' wealth up to 22x in 20 years

Around seven equity mutual funds have multiplied investors’ money up to 22 times in 20 years. Here is a detailed breakup in descending order of wealth creation, according to the Wealth Conversations Report by FundsIndia.

These seven funds were from three categories. These funds were from largecap, midcap, and flexicap fund categories.

Nippon India Growth Mid Cap Fund multiplied investors’ money by 22.4 times in the last 20 years with a CAGR of 16.8% in the same period.

HDFC Flexi Cap Fund multiplied investors’ money by 17.6 times in the last 20 years with a CAGR of 15.4% in the same period.

Franklin India Mid Cap Fund and Franklin India Flexi Cap Fund multiplied investors’ money by 16.9 times and 15.8 times respectively in the last 20 years. These funds gave a CAGR of 15.2% and 14.8% respectively.

Aditya Birla Sun Life Flexi Cap Fund and Aditya Birla Sun Life Large Cap Fund multiplied investors’ money by 14.4 times and 13.5 times respectively in the last 20 years. These funds gave a CAGR of 14.3% and 13.9% respectively.

HDFC Large Cap Fund multiplied investors’ money by 13 times in the last 20 years with a CAGR of 13.7% in the same period.

These seven funds have multiplied investors’ wealth upto 10 times in the last 15 years and over five times in the last 10 years. Nippon India Growth Mid Cap Fund was the biggest wealth creator across all horizons such as one year, three year, five years, 10 years, 15 years and 20 years.
