I am a beginner in SIP investment and want to start my SIP soon. I have researched well on this topic. I want to know, which one is better to start – largecap, midcap or a smallcap. I have chosen to invest in ‘Kotak Select Focus Fund - Direct Plan (G)’. Is it good?

Since you're just starting your investment journey, Kotak Select Focus Fund is a good scheme to start with. It is a largecap based scheme, but has mid cap exposure too; it also has a concentrated portfolio in some sectors. You should however diversify your portfolio when you start so Franklin India Bluechip fund may be a good addition to this. Do remember to keep your time horizon at least 5 years.
