From a return point of view, investing Rs 50,000 every month either through lump sum/ SIP makes no difference. Character of Investment should match the character of income. So , if you have investible surplus of Rs 50,000 every month , please go ahead and invest it through a SIP. It brings in discipline and helps you avoid market timing. Few pointers for your recommended investment :
Avoid investing entire amount in one fund . Diversify
Try and extend your investment horizon. Better way is to link it one of your financial goals. For example, retirement

For your risk profile, please allocate between equity, debt and cash (liquid).
Equity funds could comprise of a large & mid cap fund, aggressive hybrid fund, multi cap fund, mid cap , and small cap fund
