Can I invest in SBI Magnum Multicap Fund for 25 years?

I am investing Rs 1,000 in SBI Magnum Multicap Fund via SIP. My investment horizon is 20 to 25 years. Is it a good fund?

SBI Magnum Multicap Fund is a simple plain fund and all simple funds are good for long term investment. I won't be able to say whether it is the the best fund for you because you have not mentioned your risk profile and financial goals.

As your investment horizon is 25 years, your patience will be tested. Your fund will go through many ups and downs. There will be many years when the returns could be negative. If you continue to invest for 25 years, your fund will definitely give you good returns.
