Ask ET Mutual Funds: How to change redemption account details?

A few years ago, I invested in some ELSS funds (ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund and Canara Robecco AMC). I was a residential citizen of India at the time of investment. For redemption purpose, I have provided an SBI regular savings account. Now, I am an NRI and I have an NRI ICICI account. Could you please give me an idea about the process involved in changing/updating my redemption account details? Can I update it without physically being present in India? Also, how much time will it take to complete this process? -- Abey Alex

You should contact your mutual fund advisor or the AMC to get the details. Only they will be able to provide you the exact process and whether you can do it from abroad. Also, on becoming NRI, you should have also updated your KYC.
