I am 28 years old. Currently, I am investing in three equity mutual fund schemes via SIP. I invest Rs 3,000 monthly in Franklin India Taxshield Fund, Rs 3,000 in DSP BlackRock Microcap Fund and Rs 4,000 in SBI Bluechip Fund. I have no dependents as of now. I want to know if I am invested in the right funds? My risk appetite is high.

Shifali Satsangee, Founder, Funds Ve’daa, responds:

Your portfolio is good and has a blend of an ELSS, a microcap and a largecap scheme. You may want to add a multicap, diversified equity fund or a midcap fund with a sound track record for future SIP investments.
