I am 22 years old. I have been investing Rs 1,000 per month in the following mutual funds for the past eight months.
Reliance Large Cap Fund
Mirae Asset Large Cap Fund
Kotak Standard Multicap Fund
L&T Midcap Fund
SBI Small Cap Fund

I have an investment horizon of over 15 years. My risk profile is moderate. Am I investing in the right mutual fund schemes? Or should I make any changes?

Deepali Sen, Founder, Srujan Financial Advisors, responds:

You have chosen good funds. If you have a moderate risk profile, your exposure to mid cap and small cap is high, nearly 40 per cent. You can either reduce it to 25 per cent by either reducing your SIP in mid- and small cap schemes, or by increasing your SIP in large and multi cap schemes.
