I would like to make Rs 50 lakh in 10 years. I have been investing (SIP) for the past one year in the following schemes:

I would like to be conservative as I can't take much risk. Kindly advise if I am on the right track. Please advise new funds as well. Risk profile medium.

First, you should find out your risk profile. You say you can’t take much risk and then you say your risk profile is medium. There is some confusion. Take an online quiz to find out your risk profile. Once you know your risk profile, you should ensure that your schemes are in line with your risk profile.

Mirae Asset Emerging Bluechip Fund is a large & mid cap scheme. The scheme is highly risky and it’s recommended to aggressive investors. Flexi cap schemes are suitable for moderate investors and an equity hybrid fund is suitable for conservative investors.


You have to invest Rs 21,500 every month to build a corpus of Rs 50 lakh in 10 years. You can start with whatever you can manage to invest now, but make sure you invest more every year - at least in line with your salary hikes.
