I am a 19-year-old student and I want to start an SIP of Rs 1,000-2,000 per month with my monthly savings just to incorporate a habit of saving. I do not have any particular goal as of now and I am up for moderate risk. Please suggest a fund for better results.

Chokkalingam Palaniappan, Founder, Prakala Wealth Management, responds:

Glad to see that you are starting investing at an early stage of your life. You may invest in multicap funds with at least five-year outlook. One of the good funds in that category is BNP Paribas Dividend Yield Fund. Invest Rs 2,000 per month in this fund.
