I can invest in two mutual fund schemes for the long term. One scheme should be risky and the other scheme should be safe.

Currently, my investments are in Reliance Small Cap Fund and Franklin India Smaller Companies Fund. Please suggest me a good investment plan so that I can build a corpus.

Manish Saluja, Chief Financial Planner, Prime Wealth Advisors, responds:

You are investing in two smallcap funds. So, I would suggest you to invest in one largecap or midcap and one multicap fund. You may invest in Kotak Standard Multicap Fund and IDFC Focused Equity Fund.
