57 equity mutual funds offer over 30% return in six months
The two next schemes in the list were from Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund. Motilal Oswal Large & Midcap Fund and Motilal Oswal ELSS Tax Saver Fund delivered 38.92% and 38.71% returns respectively in the said period.

The top toppers in the list were from mid cap category. Motilal Oswal Midcap Fund and Invesco India Midcap Fund gave 39.90% and 39.74% return respectively in the last six month horizon.

Two small cap funds - LIC MF Small Cap Fund and Motilal Oswal Small Cap Fund - posted returns of around 37.98% and 37.28% respectively in the mentioned horizon. Tata Small Cap Fund gave 36.69% return. Kotak Small Cap Fund posted 33.93% return in the last six months.
Kotak Emerging Equity Fund, the second largest mid cap fund based on assets managed, offered 33.84% return in the said time period.
Franklin India Prima Fund, a mid cap fund, gave 33.51% return in a six month period. Invesco India Contra Fund delivered 33.46% return in the mentioned period. Sundaram Mid Cap Fund gave 32.25% return in the last six months.
Axis Midcap Fund and UTI Value Fund delivered 31.87% and 31.70% returns respectively in the said time period.
Motilal Oswal Large Cap Fund posted 31.66% return in the same time period. Nippon India Small Cap Fund, the largest small cap fund based on assets managed, delivered 31.19% return.

Among these 57 equity mutual funds, 19 were mid cap, 14 small cap, 5 large & mid and multi cap each, four flexi cap, three ELSS and focused each, two value, and one contra and large cap each.
