Four new SIFs were floated in the market in October. With an objective of diversification, offering different investment strategies, SIFs aims to provide sophisticated investors with more flexible investment opportunities while ensuring regulatory oversight. QSIF Equity Long-Short Fund
QSIF Equity Long-Short Fund, first SIF by Quant Mutual Fund, collected Rs 265 crore in October. Under this strategy only this SIF was launched.

Hybrid Long-Short Fund
Three Hybrid Long-Short Fund SIFs were launched which together collected Rs 1,510 crore. Altiva Hybrid Long-Short Fund, QSIF Hybrid Long-Short Fund and Magnum Hybrid Long Short Fund were launched in October.
