30 mutual fund NFOs attract over Rs 30,000 crore in July; 2 from JioBlackRock Mutual Fund take half the pie

Around 30 mutual fund NFOs were launched in July which together have collected Rs 30,416 crore. All of these were open-ended funds and now close-ended fund was launched in the said period (Source: AMFI data)

The JioBlackRock Liquid Fund and JioBlackRock Money Market Fund were launched in July which collected Rs 8,917 crore and Rs 6,285 crore respectively.

Seven sectoral and thematic funds launched in July together collected Rs 7,404 crore. Some funds launched were Axis Services Opportunities Fund, Bandhan Multi-Factor Fund, HDFC Innovation Fund, ICICI Prudential Active Momentum Fund, Mahindra Manulife Banking & Financial Services Fund, Nippon India MNC Fund, and Sundaram Multi-Factor Fund.

Two overnight funds - 360 ONE Overnight Fund and JioBlackRock Overnight Fund - together collected Rs 2,877 crore in July.

Only one multi asset allocation fund - Franklin India Multi Asset Allocation Fund - collected Rs 1,859 crore.

Only one small cap fund - Bajaj Finserv Small Cap Fund - was launched which collected Rs 1,127 crore in July.

Only one low duration fund - Union Low Duration Fund - was launched which collected Rs 869 crore in July.

TrustMF Multi Cap Fund and JM Large & Mid Cap Fund were launched which together collected Rs 173 crore and Rs 293 crore respectively.

Six index funds, six other ETFs, and one gold ETF were launched in July which collected Rs 526 crore, Rs 52 crore, and Rs 6 crore respectively.

Quant Equity Savings Fund was the only launch in this category which collected Rs 28 crore in July.
