228 NFOs hit market in 2023; Kotak Mutual Fund launched 22 NFOs

Mutual funds were busy launching NFOs in 2023. Around 228 new fund offers were floated in the market in 2023, an analysis by ETMutualFunds showed. Mutual fund collected over Rs 50,000 crore in 2023. Read story: 191 NFOs mobilise over Rs 50,000 crore in 2023

Kotak Mutual Fund launched around 22 new fund offers or NFOs in 2023. The fund house came up with nine fixed maturity plans, three index funds, three sectoral funds, two gilt funds, one ETF, one FoF (Domestic), a multi asset allocation, and a thematic fund.



HDFC Mutual Fund came up with 21 new fund offers or NFOs in 2023. Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund came up with 20 new fund offers. Mirae Asset Mutual Fund and UTI Mutual Fund came up with around 14 new fund offers.

Eight fund houses came up with two new fund offers in 2023. Around eight fund houses came up with one new fund offer.

SBI Mutual Fund, the largest fund house based on assets managed,came up with 10 new fund offers in 2023. The fund house offered around seven fixed maturity plans, one dividend yield, an ETF, and an index fund. The fund house manages assets of around Rs 8.50 lakh crore.

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, the second largest fund house based on assets managed, came up with seven new fund offers.

Zerodha Mutual Fund, the new entrant in the mutual fund market, is the smallest fund house based on assets managed. The fund house came up with two passive funds - ELSS and large & mid cap funds. The fund house manages assets of Rs 139. 98 crore.
