US stocks today: US stocks open lower as chip rout extends
Wall ​Street's main ​indexes opened ​lower on Friday, with a reassessment of this ‌year's ⁠AI-fueled ⁠rally by investors deepening ​a selloff in chip ​stocks and a weak forecast from ​Netflix adding ⁠to the ‌pressure.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 423.40 points, or 0.81%, to 52,129.57. The S&P 500 declined 98.66 points, or 1.31%, to 7,435.11, while the Nasdaq Composite dropped 560.17 points, or 2.16%, to 25,321.78.
