Zee Ent. share price down 2.38 per cent

Shares of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. traded 2.38 per cent up at Rs 280.7 at around 02:10PM (IST) on Friday. The stock had closed at Rs 287.55 in the previous session. Equity benchmark Sensex traded 41.66 points lower at 58746.36 around the same time.


The scrip has climbed 12.59 per cent in the last one year till date, while the 30-share index has gained 21.51 per cent during the same period.


The stock's 52-week high price stood at Rs 378.6 and the 52-week low price at Rs 166.8.

Trading volume on the counter stood at 628,140 shares, while it quoted a price-to-earnings ratio of 25.48, an EPS value of 11.02 and a price-to-book value of 1.93. In the Nifty50 pack, 21 stocks traded in the green, while 29 stocks were in the red.

Promoter/FII Holding
Promoters held 3.99 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Dec-2021, while overseas investor and mutual funds' ownership stood at 52.21 per cent and 12.16 per cent, respectively.

Key Financials
For the quarter ended 31-Dec-2021, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 2130.44 crore, up 5.97 per cent from the previous quarter's Rs 2010.47 crore and up 22.72 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 2756.93 crore. The company reported net profit of Rs 298.73 crore for the latest quarter.
