Voltas shares gain 1.33% as Sensex rises

Shares of the Voltas Ltd. traded at Rs 1018.65 on BSE at 10:45AM (IST) on Monday, up 1.33 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 737.6 and a high of Rs 1067.95.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 167.98 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 6.03 per share and 4.96 times its book value, as per BSE data.


A total of 20,734 shares changed hands on the counter till 10:45AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 33513.66 crore and is part of the Air Conditioners industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 36.69 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 17.93 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 1025.8 and Rs 1007.3.

Promoter/FII Holding
Promoters held 30.3 per cent in the company as of 31-Dec-2023. FII and MF ownership in Voltas Ltd. stood at 17.17 per cent and 18.81 per cent, respectively.
