Voltas shares decline 0.02% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the Voltas Ltd. traded at Rs 1260.35 on BSE at 11:57AM (IST) on Monday, down 0.02 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 918.0 and a high of Rs 1356.9.

Earlier, the stock saw a gap up opening in the morning.


A total of 10,565 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 11:57AM (IST).

The stock of Voltas Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 41732.84 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 74.64, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 6.64. Return on equity (ROE) was at 10.51 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 401 stocks traded in the green, while 100 stocks were in the red.

Promotor Holding
Promoters held 30.3 per cent in the Voltas Ltd. as of 31-Dec-2021 while foreign portfolio investors and domestic institutional investors owned 24.42 per cent and 29.76 per cent, respectively.
