NEW DELHI: Sugar stocks were trading higher on Wednesday at 11:06AM
MAGADHSUGAR(up 8.31%), Simbhaoli Sugars(up 6.21%), BAJAJHIND(up 6.04%), Sakthi Sugars(up 5.01%), Dhampur Sugar Mills(up 4.66%), Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals(up 4.56%), Shree Renuka Sugars(up 4.18%), AVADHSUGAR(up 4.01%), Kothari Sugars & Chemicals(up 3.06%) and Rana Sugars(up 3.04%) were among the top gainers.
Dharani Sugars & Chemicals(down 2.30%) and Bannari Amman Sugars(down 0.31%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 62.2 points up at 18661.2, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 126.72 points at 62919.6 at around 11:06AM.
Britannia Industries(up 3.33%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 2.82%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 2.27%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 2.27%), Nestle India(up 2.03%), Hero MotoCorp(up 1.62%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprises(up 1.61%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.55%), SBI Life(up 1.47%) and Hindustan Unilever(up 1.11%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 0.74%), ICICI Bank(down 0.55%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 0.3%), HCL Technologies(down 0.24%), Grasim Industries(down 0.19%), UltraTech Cement(down 0.17%), Titan Company Ltd(down 0.07%) and Bajaj Finance(down 0.04%) were trading in the red.
