Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of GE T&D India, Barak Valley, Ircon Intl., MOS Utility and W S Industries, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:21AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 23.2 points to 17836.8 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as BEML Land Assets, Brightcom Group, Jakharia Fabric, Avalon Technologies and Aavas Financiers, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 33 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 17 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finance, SBI Life, UPL and BPCL were among top gainers, while HDFC Life, Power Grid, HUL, Axis Bank and SBI traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 90.43 points up at 60391.01 at 11:21AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Infrastructure, Real Estate, Term Lending Institutions and Textiles sectors, while selling was visible in IT Enabled Services, Media & Entertainment, Trading, Rubber and Fertilisers sectors.
