Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of DRS Dilip Roadlines, Geekay Wires, Soma Textiles, Binani Ind and RM Drip and Sprinkle, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 09:59AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 68.0 points to 17175.5 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Jet Knitwears, Future Enterprises, Supreme Engineering, Rolta India and Shanti Overseas(Ind, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 38 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 12 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, Tata Consumer, SBI Life and Hindalco were among top gainers, while Coal India Ltd, BPCL, Cipla, Power Grid and NTPC traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 212.86 points up at 58287.54 at 09:59AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Irrigation & Allied Services, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock, Fertilisers, Packaging and Diversified sectors, while selling was visible in Infrastructure, Petrochemicals, Plastics, Media & Entertainment and Industrial Consumables sectors.
