Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Tarmat Ltd, W S Industries, Tapi Fruit Processing Ltd., RM Drip and Sprinkle and Soma Textiles, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:28AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 44.75 points to 17030.35 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Future Consumer, Ballarpur Inds., Kridhan Infra, Mega Flex Plastics Ltd. and Future Enterprises, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 32 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 18 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HCL Tech, Infosys, Nestle India, HDFC Life and Tata Consumer were among top gainers, while ITC, BPCL, Eicher Motors, Hero MotoCorp and Bharti Airtel traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 122.66 points up at 57757.5 at 11:28AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Irrigation & Allied Services, IT - Hardware, Defence, Real Estate and Construction sectors, while selling was visible in Infrastructure, Petrochemicals, Media & Entertainment, Plastics and Tobacco sectors.
