Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Binani Ind, Tarmat Ltd, Arrow Greentech, Tapi Fruit Processing Ltd. and Abhishek Integrations Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:01AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 178.5 points to 17411.1 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as BKM Industries, Suumaya Lifestyle, IL&FS Trans, Aarti Drugs and Setco Automotive, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 9 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 39 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Motors, Britannia, ITC, Divis Labs and UPL were among top gainers, while Apollo Hospital, HDFC, HDFC Bank, Adani Ent. and L&T traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 668.68 points down at 59137.6 at 11:01AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Irrigation & Allied Services, Telecommunications, Sugar, Power and Learning & Education sectors, while selling was visible in Infrastructure, Petrochemicals, Media & Entertainment, Industrial Consumables and NBFC sectors.
