Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Finolex Cables, Mahanagar Gas, ISMT Ltd, Chaman Lal Setia and Jindal Stainles, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:04AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 174.25 points to 17768.6 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as MPS Infotecnics, Bartronics, Sumeet Ind, Shreeoswal Seeds and Vivimed Labs, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 45 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 4 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ent., Adani Ports SEZ, Bajaj Finserv, Power Grid and HCL Tech were among top gainers, while Britannia, Cipla, Dr. Reddys, JSW Steel and Nestle India traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 546.43 points up at 60355.4 at 10:04AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Shipping, Fertilisers, Telecommunications, Power and Holding Company sectors, while selling was visible in Infrastructure, Petrochemicals, Media & Entertainment, IT Enabled Services and Leather sectors.
