Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Majesco L(PP), Focus Lighting, Vinny Overseas, RM Drip and Sprinkle and Soma Textiles, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:50AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 64.75 points to 17909.35 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as SVP Global, JBF Industries, Omkar Speciality, Adani Transmission and Adani Gas, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 27 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 22 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, NTPC, Adani Ports SEZ, Tata Steel, L&T and JSW Steel were among top gainers, while Bajaj Auto, Wipro, Asian Paints, HDFC Life and Apollo Hospital traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 236.78 points up at 60928.32 at 10:50AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Miscellaneous, Shipping, Plastics and Defence sectors, while selling was visible in Petrochemicals, Industrial Consumables, Textiles, Learning & Education and Irrigation & Allied Services sectors.
