Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Soma Textiles, RBM Infracon Ltd., Spectrum Electrical, Gayatri Rubbers and Chemicals Ltd. and RM Drip and Sprinkle, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:55AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 103.7 points to 17825.2 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Barbeque-Nation Hospitality Ltd., Adani Gas, BKM Industries, TV Vision and SREI Infra Fin, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 30 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 20 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ent., Adani Ports SEZ, HDFC Life, UltraTech Cem. and Infosys were among top gainers, while Power Grid, Coal India Ltd, Hero MotoCorp, Bharti Airtel and Eicher Motors traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 296.68 points up at 60582.72 at 10:55AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in FMCG, Auto, Chemicals, NBFC and Leather sectors, while selling was visible in Glass, Textiles, Infrastructure, Logistics and Auto Ancillaries sectors.
