Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Mold-Tek Pack, Blue Star, Jindal Saw, Upsurge Seeds of Agriculture Ltd. and Bombay Super Hybrid, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:24AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 33.55 points to 17582.75 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Adani Transmission, Adani Green, Adani Ports SEZ, Jubilant Food and Moxsh Overseas Educon Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 16 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 34 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, ITC, Britannia, SBI Life, IndusInd Bank and Infosys were among top gainers, while Adani Ent., Adani Ports SEZ, UPL, HDFC Life and Tata Steel traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 35.16 points up at 59743.24 at 10:24AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Shipping, Media & Entertainment, Industrial Equipment, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock and Leather sectors, while selling was visible in Glass, Textiles, IT Software, Infrastructure and FMCG sectors.
