Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Vinny Overseas, Ascom Leasing & Inve, Bombay Super Hybrid, Servotech Power Syst and Vera Synthetic, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:04AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 92.85 points to 17556.1 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Uma Converter Ltd., Heranba Industries Ltd., Adani Green, Vital Chemtech Ltd. and Paras Petrofils, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 15 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 34 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, BPCL, UPL, Adani Ent., Power Grid and JSW Steel were among top gainers, while Tech Mahindra, Britannia, HDFC Life, Apollo Hospital and HCL Tech traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 318.99 points down at 59181.42 at 10:04AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Fertilisers, Electric/Electronics, Defence, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock and Term Lending Institutions sectors, while selling was visible in Glass, Textiles, Infrastructure, FMCG and IT Software sectors.
