Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Hisar Metal Ind, Arihant Academy Ltd., Sterling Tools, Trans & Rectif and Shreeoswal Seeds, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:06AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 14.15 points to 18122.0 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Vikas Proppant & Gr, Vikas WSP, Kiri Industries, Relaxo Footwear and Indus Towers, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 24 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 26 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Motors, HDFC, HDFC Bank, IndusInd Bank and SBI were among top gainers, while HUL, Asian Paints, JSW Steel, Nestle India and SBI Life traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 65.56 points up at 60923.99 at 11:06AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Mining, Learning & Education, Rubber, Cables and Agro Processing sectors, while selling was visible in Glass, Textiles, Electric/Electronics, Fertilisers and Auto Ancillaries sectors.
