Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Generic Engg, Indiabulls Enterprises Ltd., Ponni Sugars, Sky Gold and 3P Land Holdings, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:35AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 51.8 points to 17965.95 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Jyoti Structure, Nureca Ltd., Parenteral Drug, All E Technologies Ltd. and Educomp Sols., touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 31 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 19 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Hindalco, TCS, Infosys, BPCL and HCL Tech were among top gainers, while Bharti Airtel, Cipla, Apollo Hospital, Divis Labs and ONGC traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 219.71 points up at 60335.19 at 10:35AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Industrial Equipment, Sugar, Packaging, IT - Hardware and Metals - Non Ferrous sectors, while selling was visible in Glass, Learning & Education, Textiles, Trading and Auto Ancillaries sectors.
