Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Rajshree Sugars, Sakthi Sugars, Kothari Sugars, Ponni Sugars and GIC, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:55AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 70.4 points to 18339.4 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Vikas Proppant & Gr, Inox Green Energy Services Ltd., Cerebra Integrat, Sintex Inds. and Himatsingk Seid, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 5 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 44 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Motors, HDFC Bank, HUL, Tata Steel and JSW Steel were among top gainers, while Dr. Reddys, M&M, Adani Ports SEZ, Asian Paints and BPCL traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 244.69 points up at 61582.5 at 10:55AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in General, Power, Rubber, Real Estate and Retail sectors, while selling was visible in General, Power, Rubber, Real Estate and Retail sectors.
