Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Indbank Merc, Nagreeka Capital, GIC, UCO Bank and FACT, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 09:59AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 79.5 points to 18580.8 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Cerebra Integrat, Pritika Engineering Components Ltd., Sintex Inds., Indiabulls Intgrtd and Future Consumer, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 15 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 35 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, IndusInd Bank, SBI Life, HDFC Life, NTPC and Tata Motors were among top gainers, while Tech Mahindra, Infosys, HCL Tech, TCS and Tata Consumer traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 278.81 points down at 62399.1 at 09:59AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Cables, Sugar, Tea / Coffee and Gas & Petroleum sectors, while selling was visible in Services, IT Enabled Services, NBFC, Miscellaneous and Learning & Education sectors.
