Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Palash Securities, B&B Triplewall Conta, Dynamic Cables, Sirca Paints and GIC, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:14AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 54.25 points to 18662.25 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Cerebra Integrat, Sintex Inds., JFL Life Sciences Ltd., Shree Pushkar Chem and Future Consumer, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 37 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 13 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Hindalco, Eicher Motors, Tech Mahindra, NTPC and Power Grid were among top gainers, while Bharti Airtel, Nestle India, M&M, Apollo Hospital and Adani Ports SEZ traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 179.93 points up at 62713.23 at 10:14AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Mining, Metals - Non Ferrous, Construction and Media & Entertainment sectors, while selling was visible in Services, IT Enabled Services, NBFC, Learning & Education and Glass sectors.
