Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

Skipper Ltd, Punjab Sind Bank, Raymond, Axita Cotton and Likhitha Infra, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:09AM.

Retail and banking stocks rose 0.5 per cent and 0.7 per cent, respectively.
NEW DELHI: Shares of Skipper Ltd, Punjab Sind Bank, Raymond, Axita Cotton and Likhitha Infra, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:09AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 101.8 points to 18710.7 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Aakash Exploration, Indiabulls Intgrtd, FutureLifestyleFash, Ishan International Ltd. and Future Enterprises, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 13 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 37 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Apollo Hospital, ONGC, RIL, Coal India Ltd and IndusInd Bank were among top gainers, while Eicher Motors, Bajaj Auto, M&M, Divis Labs and TCS traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 347.42 points down at 62936.77 at 10:09AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Industrial Equipment, Telecommunications, Defence, Plastics and Industrial Consumables sectors, while selling was visible in NBFC, IT Enabled Services, Services, Learning & Education and Miscellaneous sectors.
