Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Ponni Sugars, Rossell India, Bikaji Foods International Ltd., Rail Vikas Nigam and Easy Trip Planners Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:45AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 101.95 points to 18369.2 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as JBF Industries, Amiable Logistic(India)Ltd., Vivo Collaboration Solutions Ltd., Suumaya Lifestyle and Uma Exports Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 41 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 9 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Apollo Hospital, HDFC Life, BPCL, Tata Consumer and Power Grid were among top gainers, while Tata Motors, Adani Ent., Bharti Airtel, Kotak Bank and Tata Steel traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 334.74 points up at 61845.32 at 10:45AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Aquaculture, Telecommunications, Sugar, Industrial Equipment and Airlines sectors, while selling was visible in Services, Learning & Education, NBFC, Miscellaneous and Glass sectors.
