Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Archean Chemical Industries Ltd., UCO Bank, Timken India, JIK Industries and TVS Srichakra, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:29AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 139.9 points to 18167.75 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Arshiya, Suumaya Lifestyle, Jet Airways, Vivo Collaboration Solutions Ltd. and Wanbury Ltd, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 10 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 40 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, BPCL, Axis Bank, Tata Steel, Maruti Suzuki and Britannia were among top gainers, while ONGC, SBI Life, Adani Ent., Tata Consumer and Dr. Reddys traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 467.01 points down at 61196.47 at 10:29AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Cables, Mining, Industrial Equipment and Industrial Consumables sectors, while selling was visible in Services, NBFC, Learning & Education, Miscellaneous and Glass sectors.
