Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Varanium Cloud Ltd., Macpower CNC Machine, Satia Industries, Karur Vysya Bank and Rama Steel Tubes, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:19AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 174.8 points to 17961.6 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Sportking India, Intellect Design, Lloyds Luxuries Ltd., Gland Pharma and Sigma Solve, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 44 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 6 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, Tech Mahindra, Sun Pharma, Eicher Motors and Maruti Suzuki were among top gainers, while Apollo Hospital, NTPC, Tata Steel, Dr. Reddys and SBI traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 619.68 points up at 60579.53 at 10:19AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Paper, Auto, Cement and Engineering sectors, while selling was visible in Learning & Education, NBFC, Glass, Miscellaneous and IT Enabled Services sectors.
