Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Zenith Exports, Macpower CNC Machine, Hindcon Chemicals, Astec Lifesc and Apollo Micro Systems, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:29AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 110.8 points to 17012.8 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Wipro, Tips Films Ltd., Akshar Spintex, JBF Industries and Annapurna Swadisht Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 8 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 42 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HCL Tech, Hindalco, Dr. Reddys, Sun Pharma and Coal India Ltd were among top gainers, while Wipro, ONGC, Adani Ports SEZ, SBI Life and Grasim Inds. traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 371.61 points down at 57254.3 at 10:29AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Learning & Education, Hospitals & Allied Services, Industrial Equipment and Rubber sectors, while selling was visible in NBFC, Miscellaneous, IT Enabled Services, Term Lending Institutions and Auto Ancillaries sectors.
