Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Axita Cotton, Apollo Sindoori, GRSE, Sakar Healthcare and Fairchem Organics Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:21AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 196.45 points to 17118.2 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Ishan International Ltd., Akshar Spintex, Tips Films Ltd., Kandarp Digi Smart BPO Ltd. and Reliance Comm, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 5 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 45 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Axis Bank, Power Grid, TCS, Maruti Suzuki and Coal India Ltd were among top gainers, while Tata Motors, Hero MotoCorp, Tata Consumer, Asian Paints and ITC traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 636.47 points down at 57554.82 at 11:21AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Learning & Education, Telecommunications, Paper, Sugar and Glass sectors, while selling was visible in NBFC, IT Enabled Services, Miscellaneous, Term Lending Institutions and Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock sectors.
