Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of GRSE, Lotus Eye Hosp, Apollo Sindoori, Venus Pipes & Tubes Ltd. and Mishra Dhatu Nigam, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:39AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 120.0 points to 17394.3 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Pavna Industries Ltd., Mega Flex Plastics Ltd., Kandarp Digi Smart BPO Ltd., Proseed India and Veekayem Fashion and Apparels Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 34 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 16 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, JSW Steel, Hindalco, Coal India Ltd, Tata Steel and Axis Bank were among top gainers, while Bajaj Finance, IndusInd Bank, HUL, Cipla and Britannia traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 397.86 points up at 58463.33 at 10:39AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Cables, Learning & Education, Metals - Ferrous, Telecommunications and Mining sectors, while selling was visible in NBFC, Miscellaneous, IT Enabled Services, Term Lending Institutions and Gas & Petroleum sectors.
