Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Insecticide Ind, Airo Lam, Apollo Sindoori, M K Proteins and Maks Energy Solutions India Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:19AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 57.25 points to 16875.35 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Kandarp Digi Smart BPO Ltd., Premier Ltd, Vaxtex Cotfab, Karda Const and Annapurna Swadisht Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 30 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 20 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Power Grid, ONGC, Hindalco, UltraTech Cem. and RIL were among top gainers, while Coal India Ltd, Asian Paints, Tech Mahindra, Tata Motors and TCS traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 219.73 points up at 56629.69 at 10:19AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Learning & Education, Cement, Retail and Metals - Non Ferrous sectors, while selling was visible in Defence, Metals - Ferrous, NBFC, Miscellaneous and IT Enabled Services sectors.
