Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Macpower CNC Machine, Celebrity Fash, Sreeleather, Triveni Turbine and Universal Cable, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:26AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 93.6 points to 17633.05 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Mangalam Worldwide Ltd., FutureLifestyleFash, Bombay Rayon, InvstmntTrstofIndia and Piramal Ent., touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 33 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 17 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Hindalco, NTPC, JSW Steel, HCL Tech and Kotak Bank were among top gainers, while Apollo Hospital, Bajaj Auto, Eicher Motors, HDFC Life and Wipro traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 338.13 points up at 59141.46 at 11:26AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Cables, Agro Processing, Rubber and Industrial Equipment sectors, while selling was visible in Metals - Ferrous, Miscellaneous, Term Lending Institutions, Petrochemicals and Gas & Petroleum sectors.
