Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Kritika Wires, Lokesh Machines, JIK Industries, Commercial Engg and Ram Ratna Wire, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:04AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 233.3 points to 17325.6 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as GVK Power Infra, Jindal Cotex, TCI Finance, Bombay Rayon and MBL Infra, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 8 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 42 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HUL, Maruti Suzuki, Britannia, Apollo Hospital and Nestle India were among top gainers, while Tech Mahindra, Infosys, HCL Tech, JSW Steel and Hindalco traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 776.98 points down at 58056.89 at 10:04AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Defence, FMCG, InvIT and Agro Processing sectors, while selling was visible in Metals - Ferrous, Miscellaneous, Term Lending Institutions, Auto Ancillaries and Gas & Petroleum sectors.
