Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Sikko Industries, DB Corp., Eros Media, Indo Amines and Ruby Mills, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:24AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 180.05 points to 17578.4 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Agni Green Power Ltd., Swaraj Suiting Ltd., Debock Sales & Mktg, GVK Power Infra and Jindal Cotex, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 6 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 44 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Britannia, ITC, HUL, Tata Consumer and NTPC were among top gainers, while Apollo Hospital, Divis Labs, Kotak Bank, Bajaj Finserv and ONGC traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 573.05 points down at 59073.1 at 10:24AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Tea / Coffee, Telecommunications, Power, Glass and Tobacco sectors, while selling was visible in Metals - Ferrous, Term Lending Institutions, Auto Ancillaries, Gas & Petroleum and Pharmaceuticals sectors.
