Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Sumit Woods, Indo Amines, Tainwala Chem, Mahindra Lifespace and Power Mech Proj, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:16AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 79.0 points to 17877.5 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Future Enterprises, D K Enterprises Global Ltd., Tijaria Polypip, Vipul Ltd and Kaveri Seed Co., touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 11 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 38 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ports SEZ, Tech Mahindra, L&T, Infosys and Wipro were among top gainers, while IndusInd Bank, BPCL, Apollo Hospital, Power Grid and Coal India Ltd traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 244.0 points down at 60054.0 at 11:16AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Shipping, Telecommunications, Power, Cables and Textiles sectors, while selling was visible in Metals - Ferrous, Term Lending Institutions, Gas & Petroleum, Auto Ancillaries and Pharmaceuticals sectors.
