Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of S Chand & Co, Nava Bharat Vent., AMD Industries, Mahindra Lifespace and Jash Engineering, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:21AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 101.1 points to 17926.35 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Bajaj Hindusthan Su, IRIS Business Servic, GVK Power Infra, Jet Freight Logistic and Super Spinning, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 40 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 10 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finance, NTPC, HDFC Life and BPCL were among top gainers, while M&M, Cipla, Apollo Hospital, Kotak Bank and Maruti Suzuki traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 328.9 points up at 60171.11 at 11:21AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Shipping, Financial Services, Tyres, Telecommunications and Metals - Non Ferrous sectors, while selling was visible in Metals - Ferrous, Term Lending Institutions, Auto Ancillaries, Pharmaceuticals and Gas & Petroleum sectors.
