Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Navneet Education, Beardsell Ltd, Ruchira Papers, International Constructions Ltd. and Party Cruisers Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:24AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 65.95 points to 17279.5 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as IMP Powers Ltd, Birla Tyres, Karda Const, GSK Pharma and Quadpro ITeS Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 11 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 39 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Cipla, Tech Mahindra, HCL Tech, Infosys and TCS were among top gainers, while Coal India Ltd, Kotak Bank, Tata Motors, ONGC and Maruti Suzuki traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 168.99 points down at 57967.37 at 10:24AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, IT Enabled Services, IT Software, Electric/Electronics and Paper sectors, while selling was visible in Metals - Ferrous, Gas & Petroleum, Auto Ancillaries, Engineering and Rubber sectors.
