Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Beardsell Ltd, Lotus Eye Hosp, SBI Life, TVS Motor and Priti International, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:29AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 124.25 points to 17053.85 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Karda Const, Bajaj Hindusthan Su, Aakash Exploration, SREI Infra Fin and Sanghi Ind, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 40 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 10 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, SBI Life, Tata Steel, Hindalco, Bajaj Finserv and JSW Steel were among top gainers, while Dr. Reddys, Cipla, Shree Cements, Sun Pharma and SBI traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 357.51 points up at 57215.30 at 10:29AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Industrial Consumables, Metals - Non Ferrous, Electric/Electronics and Logistics sectors, while selling was visible in Metals - Ferrous, Gas & Petroleum, Pharmaceuticals, Auto Ancillaries and Packaging sectors.
