Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Aether Industries Ltd., International Constructions Ltd., Spacenet Enterprise, PC Jeweller and Mangalam Worldwide Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs at 09:59AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 7.0 points to 16271.5 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Vikas Proppant & Gr, NGL Fine Chem, Karda Const, Aakash Exploration and Radha Madhav, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 27 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 23 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Steel, M&M, UltraTech Cem., ONGC and Eicher Motors were among top gainers, while Nestle India, HDFC Life, Tata Consumer, SBI Life and Infosys traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 31.14 points down at 54490.01 at 09:59AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Glass, Defence, Petrochemicals and IT - Hardware sectors, while selling was visible in Engineering, Media & Entertainment, Gas & Petroleum, Auto Ancillaries and Tyres sectors.
