Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of AAA Technologies, Orient Bell, Silver Touch Tech, FIEM Industries and Imagicaaworld Entert, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:30AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 142.9 points to 15978.25 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Andhra Cements, Viceroy Hotels, Vipul Ltd, Starteck Finance and Anjani Portland, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 44 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 6 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Finserv, Hindalco, UPL, Apollo Hospital and Dr. Reddys were among top gainers, while Britannia, ITC, HDFC Life, BPCL and Hero MotoCorp traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 491.07 points up at 53725.84 at 10:30AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Retail, Trading, Pesticides/Agro Chemicals and Electric/Electronics sectors, while selling was visible in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Media & Entertainment, Gas & Petroleum and Metals - Ferrous sectors.
